Crystal Wars

Faction 1 of 6

The Graveyard

Death is where their army begins.

A world of tombs and drifting mist, where lost souls are sewn into dead bodies and sent back to fight. The Graveyard never runs short of soldiers. It digs them up.

Lycan, the werewolf knight of the Graveyard, sword raised under a violet moon.

Their story

How the Graveyard came to war

A world that had already lost

Before the worlds collided, the Graveyard had nothing left to lose. Its fragment burned low, its sun had gone out, and its people had died long ago. What remained were souls with nowhere to go, drifting between the tombs.

The art of grafting

Its necromancers found a use for them. A wandering soul could be grafted onto a body, any body, and the body would rise and obey. Skeletons, ghouls, a drowned surgeon, a mountain of rats: in the Graveyard the dead are a resource, and it learned to spend them without counting.

An army that will not stay down

When its world fell into Spes Mundus, the living met an enemy they could not thin out. Kill a Graveyard soldier and it goes into the ground. It rarely stays there.

On the board

Their army, up close

Every hero of the Graveyard is a miniature on the board. Turn the table, and pick one to see its card.

The 3D table needs WebGL. The cards below show the same army.

Lycan, Hero of Lost Souls

Legendary hero

Lycan, Hero of Lost Souls

The one soul the necromancers could never bind. A werewolf knight who chose to lead the dead rather than serve them, and the only creature in the Graveyard that the others fear.

His strength grows as the dead outnumber the living. Ahead by two soldiers, he calls his own to the field for nothing. Ahead by three cards, his spells cost nothing either. Feel the Pain lands for 25.
