A world of bases and trenches
The Squad's world looked a lot like ours. Cities, factories, a sky full of smoke. Its people had been at war so long that the army was the country, and every child knew how to strip a rifle.
Faction 3 of 6
Hold the line. Then move it.
Humans, steel, and a war that never ended. When their fragment began to fade, the Squad did not pray. They built walls around it and put guns on every wall.
Their story
The Squad's world looked a lot like ours. Cities, factories, a sky full of smoke. Its people had been at war so long that the army was the country, and every child knew how to strip a rifle.
In the merged world they are the only faction that fights like an army: medics behind the front, snipers on the roof, artillery that reaches across the whole board, and a crystal they fortify like a bunker.
General Gatlord commands them with a simple doctrine. Soldiers who fall come back. Ra, the Last Hope, hits any target on the board. Tyler is a fortress on two legs. Tomoko, the surgeon, fires two pistols named Cruelty and Barbarity.
On the board
Every hero of the Squad is a miniature on the board. Turn the table, and pick one to see its card.
The 3D table needs WebGL. The cards below show the same army.
Legendary hero
The general of the Squad, a rotary gun braced on his shoulder and a bandolier across his chest. He has never lost a soldier for good, and he does not intend to start.
Resurrection Technology brings fallen allies back the next turn with 5 HP, once each. Nano-Healing restores every ally on the board to full health.
How they fight
Squad gunners attack from extra tiles away. Ra reaches across the entire board.
Repair the crystal, armor the front line, and make every hit cost the enemy more.
Medics, drill sergeants and grenadiers make the soldiers beside them stronger.
Their crystal
Once a turn, a player fires one power of their crystal. These are the Squad's.
